Great idea Cheri! Your candle approach reminded me that when my own church years ago launched a Boy Scout troop, the boys set up camp at the main entrances to the church and, over camp stoves, were cooking bacon as people entered and exited the church. It was impossible to miss!

What a great thing to consider!
When our youth had a candle sale, I would often light one in the foyer especially on high traffic days like when the Ladies Bible Study group would meet. When someone would comment that it smelled good it was easy to say, "That's one of the candles the youth are selling."
But making it smell like "home" to set the stage for a great meeting... that's awesome!

Great post john.
am blessed reading this, most of Tactical leaders have some sort of superiority complex & are not secure.
even in the secular & nations, many dictators & tactical leader are been forced out, losing their place & relevance. such leadership style is not too good in & for the Kingdom
thanks

We send a thank you to first time givers that includes information on how their contribution is handled, the different methods of giving, and how to specify giving if they wish. This method has been appreciated by our congregation because it gives new people a look into the operations of the church.

The only reason most people's giving is even trackable is for the tax deduction, otherwise I am certain most people would give cash.
